In the spring of 2009 I knew some good friend of ours Lou & Simon
were going to be getting married in later in the year on September 5th (on our
22nd wedding anniversary!)
Having worked on some ideas for this song, I played the rough version to Lou
after leading youth group with her one Sunday evening and suggested she sing it
to Simon at the wedding!
We recorded the version you can hear on the web site in the summer of 2009 and
on the wedding day, at the reception, Lou sang it to Simon and there wasn't a
dry eye in the room!
I also made a video of the song with pictures of Lou and Simon through the ages
