Jesus I long
This is the
first worship song that Wendy and I wrote together.
It was inspired during a time at the 'worship together' conference in February
1997 in Eastbourne.
It is based on Psalm 51and was written to be sung as both a song of repentance
and a crying to God for that 'first joy'

Yearning to feel The love that I first knew
Draw me closer in your presence
I'm crying out, have mercy, O Lord
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
Let me feel the warmth of Your embrace
